  • It seems that all the comments have an element of truth to them. This area is much more problematic than our indochinese conflict because Iran and Pakistan, with its hatred for India, border afganistan and both want to predominate there.

  • The statistic is that 35% of of medicare costs are devoted to people in the last two years of life. I interpret that to mean that we probe, pry, test, medicate and perform surgery attempting to prevent the death of dying people, rather than send them home to die in comfort and peace.

  • A 'cure' for cancer cannot ever be found. Researchers know this, yet continue to take billions in grants each year to find a 'cure'. Excitedknight. Too excited. Its statistical science and health care benefit versus cost. Seems to have little to do with who is in office.
